It's honest, that's it. It's honest.
Advantages: An excellent commedy drama packed full of incredible songs. Disadvantages: Lots of swear words.
My Reasons For Purchasing The Commitments Film: This has to be one of the best Comedy-Dramas of 1991 in my opinion. The Commitments is a really great film and it is based on the novel written by Roddy Doyle. It was released on August the 14th 1991 in Ireland and in the UK. The Commitments runs for 118 minutes. It was directed by Alan Parker who also directed "Fame" and Pink Floyds "The Wall" This film was also produced by Lynda Myles and Roger ... ...of unexpected little pleasures along the way. Space lol The Commitments film is an infectious story about a group of unemployed young people from the north of Dublin in Ireland who start up a rhythm-and-blues band. It really has a very good storyline to it, with lots of great acting, funny scenes and has plenty of great songs performed throughout it also. I first watched this film as a teenager and I really was amazed by how similar some of ...

Pulp Fiction - A soft moist shapeless mass of matter.
Advantages: Great storyline, acting and Soundtrack. Fantastic Dialogue Disadvantages: Not for you if easily offended by swearing and violence.
Pulp Fiction
A soft moist shapeless mass of matter.
Introduction
This is arguably Tarrantino's best film to date. Universally recognised as a ground breaking film, and recieved huge critical acclaim at the Cannes film festival winning the Golden Palm Award. The dialogue in this film will blow you way, Tarrantino has for me written and delivered probably the best dialogue in a film ever.
The acting by Travolta and Jackson sent their ... ...killer performances! An excellent supporting cast and fantastic soundtrack. Sound like the perfect film!
Synopsis
The film depicts a typical day in the life of a hit man (men), Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L Jackson). The main story revolves around their dealings over a briefcase with Brett ( Frank Whaley), Marvin (Phil LaMarr), and a gangster Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames). Cleverly woven into the tales of violence ...

When I first about this movie many years ago I wasn’t surprised how confusing the plot sounded, especially after watching, and very ... ...I finally got round to watching this I knew I would have to concentrate somewhat to keep up with the story.
It is one of them movie which is written in such a way that the beginning is the end, the end is the middle and the middle is somewhere near the beginning of the end. It is a mish mash of separate stories entwined into one great movie written by the very strange minded Tarantino, who seems to like to confuse the hell out of his audience.

The Fresh Prince is crowned Champ
Advantages: Realism, Will Smith Disadvantages: Possibly limited appeal
Ali is a biopic of the former heavyweight champion Mohammed Ali. The firm starts with Ali fight against Sonny Liston. This is the fight in which he wins the title for the first time. The last fit of the film is Ali victory over George Foreman in the contest known as the Rubble in The Juggle. This is where Ali regains his title.
The early parts of the film center on Ali relationship with Malcolm X and the Muslim Brotherhood. The next major section ... ...banned from fighting.
Eventually Ali manages to overturn the ban and regain his fighting license. He fights Joe Frazier and he loses against him. Then before a rematch can be arranged Frazier himself loses as George Foreman knocks him out. Ali arranges a fight with Foreman in Zaire. This fight will be known as the Rubble in The Jungle and is probably the most famous fight in the film.

Girls Like Me Don't Make Invitations Like This
Advantages: A fantastic Tarantino film, never a dull moment. Disadvantages: Blink and you may just lose the plot.
Having long been a fan of Director Quentin Tarantino, it should come as no surprise that 'Pulp Fiction' is one of my favourite films of all time. 'Pulp Fiction' was the 1994 follow up to 'Reservoir Dogs', a film I first saw at a young age and fell in love with instantaneously. Much like the way in which the films of Tim Burton tend to have a magical feel about them, Tarantino has a similarly distinctive directorial style, one of which I myself am ... ...brought John Travolta success in the 90's and was just a general all round cracker of a film. I get excited about the films of few directors, however every time a new Tarantino film is released I am amongst the first to get down to the cinema and view it. 'Pulp Fiction' is a film which I can view time and time again without ever tiring of, one that I can never get enough of and always enjoy watching. If it weren't a Tarantino film then I feel that ...
