'Serial Mom' is a great comedy and a thoroughly entertaining film, exploiting to the full the talents of Kathleen Turner. She delivers a highly fun and amusing performance, from the start presenting the viewer with the image of a unique and humorous character. The film is set in 1990s America with an apparently perfect household, ran by an apparently perfect housewife. However, this illusion is soon shattered and a somewhat more sinister appearance ...
...behaviour. Her murderous exploits are not sick, but funny, so this film is not one for those with a humour based on light-hearted themes. She lives a dual life with a split personality and psychopathic tendencies- her constant and extreme changes from pleasant, loving lady to crazy killer adds to the entertainment value. One of the best US sitcoms at the moment. God bless HBO!

Advantages: Very funny program, great stories and brilliant characters
Disadvantages: 10 episodes per series just isn't enough!

I had seen Curb your Enthusiasm a few times on E4 and really enjoyed it so when I found this box set on sale for £27 I thought this was too good a deal to miss! I watched 3 episodes every night before going to bed but they got me in a bit of trouble at work because I would stay up all night laughing! I love the way it's written. Pretty much everything is improvised, Larry David write what the scene is about then the actors do the rest of the work ...
...episode has such a great and unique story to it, the characters are brilliant and after finishing every series of this brilliant program you don't know whether or not to empathise or pity Larry! I'm sure this isn't everybodys cup of tea but I would definately recommend this. It's one of the most consistent sitcoms I've ever seen so don't waste your time buying just one series, really commit and get the whole box set! ...

Advantages: great music, funny moments.

After seeing Stuck On You I thought it would be another dumb movie just 2 guys being stuck together through the whole movie, but boy was I wrong. Greg Kinnear & Matt Damon play 2 brothers cojoined at the hip & trying to make it in the world. Greg's character wants to be an actor so he convince's his brother to go with him. I would really have to say after seeing Greg sing on stage with the musical with Meryl Streep & the emotional effects with Greg ...

Review of Stuck On You (DVD)

Even best friends can't share the same wedding day.

Advantages: Lots of funny moments, gorgeous dresses, flowers, etc to look at!
Disadvantages: None (in my opinion!)

Russell Howard is unknown to most people. Those people didnt realise Mock The Week was a comedy show with some great comedians. The DVD is fantastic. The jokes are original and about his life and is a non stop belly tickler. Since i first saw him on mock the week i have tried to see all his performances!
