...for language and sex-related humor, Idiocracy is almost too frighteningly close to reality to be a a truly good comedy! I found myself staring at the screen in open-mouthed shock at the rampant ignorance that rules this futuristic society. Allen's gorilla warfare satire and political stabs (at J. Edgar Hoover and the likes) are memorable, one worth noting however- when trying to very discreetly, and unsuccessfully, buying a nudie magazine in small shop. The arrays of parodies are too vast to categorize- however, too often Allen dragged the burlesque of the scene.
