Funny no tears formula
Advantages: Non offensive comedy style, intelligent comedian, Michael is warm to the audience and so you relax Disadvantages: None
I first saw Michael McIntyre on a variety performance when flicking channels and was to be honest not a fan but after seeing him on Mock the Week and feeling that he has developed his style of comedy I decided to give this dvd a shot and was not disappointed.
Michael McIntyre is an extremely intelligent comedian who always delivers his style of humour in a way which should make you feel like you are being spoken down to by him but it actually feels ... ...he is.
I love watching Michael work as he is not scared to laugh at his own jokes and I was very impressed by his audience interraction which I have seen a lack of with some comedians but he has worked hard on his set and is now certainly at the top of his game.
The dvd will deliver laughs and intelligent comedy and you will not walk away feeling like somebody has just stood swearing at you and insulting your inteligence but will infact walk away ...

"What happens in Vegas you pay for when you get home"
Advantages: A fun easy watch Disadvantages: Predeictable and cheesy
WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS
A FILM ONLY REVIEW
I know that they are very predictable. But I do love a good romantic comedy. As I generally enjoy films Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz so I was quite enthusiastic about watching ‘What Happens in Vegas’.
Wall Street workaholic Joy McNally (played by Cameron Diaz) was a successful woman who loved to plan, she planned everything, she planned what she was going to plan.
One of the things that ... ...long time boyfriend Mason (played by Jason Sudeikis). I guess she was sorry that she did, because at this party -in front of all of their friends – he finished their relationship.
Elsewhere, Jack Fuller (played by Ashton Kutcher) , whose refusal to finish anything has just got him sacked from his father's company, by his father himself.
Joy and Jack each get a talking to from their friends Hater, (Rob Corddry) and Tipper (Lake Bell). This talk ...

...sort of film I would recommend watching if you like silly comedy that doesn't go too far like others have commented films such as Pineapple Express, Knocked Up, etc have done. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is very funny, and will keep you watching. I recommend giving it a go, it's hilarious. ...

* Bad Jimmy! *
Advantages: None! Disadvantages: Everything!
...really know much about this Jimmy Carr , although I remember him being a guest on a television chat show programme (I think it was Charlotte Church's show) and finding him quite funny , and so I decided what he was really like as a stand-up comedian.
Jimmy Carr is a British comedian , born in Hounslow , London on 15th September 1972. He has appeared on many Channel 4 television programmes and is now a successful stand-up comedian. He is also a writer ... ...I hadn't seen any of Jimmy Carr's concerts before and so wasn't sure what to expect. I watched for a few minutes , as he told a few jokes , yes the audience laughed their heads off , but I wasn't really enjoying it! First of all , the man himself (I'll come to the jokes later!) is quite anoying after a little while ; he is far too cocky for my liking!)
This DVD is certainly not for the easily offended. I don't get offended very easily and enjoy ...

peep show series 5- it just keeps getting better!
Advantages: GREAT COMEDY! Disadvantages: not enough episodes!
...have been a fan of Peep Show ever since it first came out. The brilliant comedy starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb. The two star as mismatched flatmates Mark and Jez (Jeremy) sharing a flat in London. Mark is the sensible, serious, hardworking friend, whereas Jez is the drug-taking, jobless, party loving wannabe muscian freeloading off of his best friend. In this series it follows on from where Mark and Sophie (his on off girlfriend through ... ...series 4, in a hillarious, disasterous wedding day where they immediately split after the nuptials! Mark is left wishing he never got married to Sophie (who he claims would marry anyone to have babies) and so starts tentively getting back into the dating game, prompted by Jez. With bad results, including the first episode where he ends up restraining a burglar whilst still trying to have a nice evening with his confused date! If you liked the last ...
