Blackadder has to be one of the greatest British comedies the BBC has to offer and Rowan Atkinson plays the part of Edmund Blackadder very well in all four series. Allen's gorilla warfare satire and political stabs (at J. Edgar Hoover and the likes) are memorable, one worth noting however- when trying to very discreetly, and unsuccessfully, buying a nudie magazine in small shop. The arrays of parodies are too vast to categorize- however, too often Allen dragged the burlesque of the scene. Family Guy comes under a lot of flak from other TV shows and fans of other TV shows, however I believe that it does not copy these other shows, but does something subtly different, and it does it darn well!
