This film spins me right round - the wedding singer

Extremely Dodgy Spy Spoof

Advantages: David Niven is OK... Just
Disadvantages: Ludicrous plot, bad performances

You can probably tell from the brief and fairly confused synopsis that this is a fairly confused film that unfortunately is not mercifully brief. ...fails to be entertaining. One of the key problems is that it makes very little sense. The plot is incredibly confused and although perhaps not essential to such a film, you do need to have some understanding of what is going on. This was not helped by the fact that 5 directors were on board (including Huston). It also suffers from actually not being very funny too despite the roster of 'comic' actors. A lot like Boredom

Advantages: Some romantic moments
Disadvantages: No laughs

A well done cross of comedy and romance

(What) if God were one of us - It'd be quite amusing!

Advantages: The cast, its pretty funny, lives up to repeated viewings (for me anyway)
Disadvantages: If you don't like Jim Carrey in his comedy roles, your not going to enjoy this
