I really like monty python as the comedy is on 2 levels , i watches some of the sketches years ago with my dad and found them funny but now when i watch them i understand more and find it hilarious. absolutly amazing stuff!! Allen's gorilla warfare satire and political stabs (at J. Edgar Hoover and the likes) are memorable, one worth noting however- when trying to very discreetly, and unsuccessfully, buying a nudie magazine in small shop. The arrays of parodies are too vast to categorize- however, too often Allen dragged the burlesque of the scene. Family Guy comes under a lot of flak from other TV shows and fans of other TV shows, however I believe that it does not copy these other shows, but does something subtly different, and it does it darn well!
