Combat - The West's Combat Helicopters (DVD)

Advantages: The Best online FPS game on the ps2, lots to unlock.
Disadvantages: If Your Only Offline, There's Better Games Out There.

.../prone with L1 and L2. Parachute can be opened when falling with triangle button. Online mode online you can also toggle fullscreen map and zoom in/out using the d-pad. The vehicles are also easy to control with the analog uses for accelerate and brake or you can use the op buttons too. The helicopters can be a bit more difficult as you also control the pitch and rotation but you will improve with practice and all vehicles can change camera with R2. GAMEPLAY: As battlefield was made for online, the single player mode is not great but gives you some skills and adds a bit more reply value to it. You play as both sides through the game in the 20 levels. Hotswaping is a new way to be in a team, this lets you change solders by pressing square when pointing your aim curser at one of your other team players, and it lets you take control of this person... ...'t the best if you compare it to other flight similators that are out now. However it is good to play if you are bored in a way and want something that is challenging and takes time. When you know all the moves it is just a case of using them at the right time or else you will get shot and crash. The are different planes that are available and you can also download some others off the internet. Enlist with the Royal Air Force, the Luftwaffe, or the U.S. Army Air Force and prepare the most realistic are combat simulation ever to take flight.... Read review

Advantages: Grahically incredible!
Disadvantages: It gets boring really fast :(

...I have never played any of the previous games in the Ace Combat series and to be honest I wont be buying anymore! Yes its fun for a little bit but there are no cheats available so when you get bored and want to fly the fast planes with the awesome guns- you cant unless you have unlocked them! This is quite annoying as I got bored after a few hours lol! Ever level is the same- you fly a plane and shoot something... theres only two things that change 1. It gets harder 2. You have to both more up than the previous level! Graphically the game looks amazing but if you get close to the floor it looks like its off the playstation one! That is really the only plus! :( In summary: If you a keen flyer then by all means its worth a look, but I play games for fun... and this just is not my cup of tea!... Read review
