Advantages: Excellent interpretation, funny, Family Guy and Star Wars fans must see Disadvantages: A little short
in 2000 and again in 2002 and became the 1st cancelled show to be brought out of retirement based on the strength of the DVD sales (Futurama has apparently followed suit, hooray!). A warning for parents though, this may be a cartoon but as the seasons progress the language and violence gets increasingly worse, which is hilarious, but not for the eyes and ears of the young. This DVD is rated as a 15 and contains some strong language.

As with most of the Harvester's I have visited, there is usually ample free parking at the rear of the establishment. However on Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch times these places are heaving with customers, so avoid the crowds, go early and if possible ring and reserve a table. The Stag and Hounds is no exception but fortunately ...
Advantages: free salad, good value food, family friendly Disadvantages: can be noisy, sometimes a long wait for a table
I've eaten at our local Harvester on many occasions (and for many occasions - birthdays, fathers days etc) and it does exactly what's promised.
It's always pretty busy, which is a good sign, and people do seem to go back again and again. So sometimes, if you've not booked ahead, there can be a wait for a table (I've experienced anything from a few minutes to an hour and a half) but the staff take your name and invite you to wait in the bar area - where usually we've been lucky enough to find a seat. Then, once the table's free they call your name (ok, so that's a bit like being back at school!) and you're shown to your table.
The meals are good value, with the usual 'pub grub' all there - burgers, scampi, fish & chips, mixed grills, ribs etc. There are a good selections of starters, mains and desserts to choose from, including ...
