Advantages: funny, quirky and good acting Disadvantages: none
...(Kimberley Joseph) in Series 4. David (Robert Bathurst) and Karen (Hermione Norris) have a child, then have twins and they start to really struggle to stop themselves straying from the marital bed. James is really one of the best actors I have seen, however, in this they all come together to make the show throughly enjoyable from all angles. You are drawn into the highs and lows of the lives of ordinary people, from down to earth Adam to stuck up David. If you liked Friends, then I really think you will enjoy this, but have the tissues ready at the end. There are several extras on the DVDs such as on location, behind the scenes footage and ColdFeet backstage which are fab to watch. You can buy them all individually now, though when I bought them you couldn't, but to be honest, 5 in one boxset is fantastic value, if only other series could follow...

Dont miss it Review ofColdFeet - The Complete 1st Series DVDby

Advantages: Lengthy dvd, some extras, great series Disadvantages: None!
...I brought this dvd recently as have all the other coldfeet episodes on dvd and wanted a complete set. I was worried that I wouldn’t enjoy it as it would seem so old and outdated compared to the recent series but I think this series is actually one of the best of the lot! It includes 6 episodes and the pilot episode so is quite lengthy,as well as an 'ctra' in the fom of a photo gallery of the cast at the end. The pilot episode is such fun to watch again! There are lots of laughs, as well as a few tears in this series, already with the slickness of the production that is what we all loved so much about ColdFeet. Definitely recommended, watch on a rainy day to cheer you up!...

Advantages: Gripping stories, wonderful acting Disadvantages: the accent can be a bit tricky in some episodes
...I love James Nesbitt and was rather disappointed when ColdFeet came to an end (I bought that boxset too), but he has once again excelled himself with Murphy's Law. The stories revolves round James playing Murphy, an undercover police officer and he takes on some great cases. The first series seemed to go on forever and ever, but I am a bit dissapointed with the following one, as each one is only approx 45-50 minutes long. Series 3 is the same undercover case throughout the whole series, which is the first time they tried that and it worked. The whole set is gripping from start to finish. One of the episodes is set in Northen Ireland and I think some people may find the accents a bit hard to understand, but I just turned the TV up louder and it helped. It is an absolutely thrilling programme and James is definately the star throughout...
