Advantages: Full show, 5.1 sound, bonus interview with Dave Brock Disadvantages: One small gripe - Arthur Brown ad libs too much!
...This is the most recent concert DVD release from Hawkwind. Recorded in Newcastle in 2002, the line up is Dave Brock, Huw Lloyd Langton, Tim Blake, Richard Chadwick, and very special guest on vocals - Arthur Brown (he of the 60's classic hit 'Fire' by the Crazy World of Arthur Brown). All in all this is a great concert with a mix of old classics and newer material. Soundwise it is superb with a great 5.1 mix which gives it much more of a proper live feel, especially if you can turn the volume up!

Advantages: Clint at his best Disadvantages: If you are an avid Eastwood fan like me.......NONE
...Hi I was just browsing in a local DVD store when I saw this DVD box set at a special price.
I have always liked ClintEastwood so I bought the box set,and it really is one of the best box sets I have ever purchased
ClintEastwood at his very very best in Where Eagles Dare, a favourite film of mind which I can never tire of watching
The other films on this DVD set are also good ones, though some are little heard of, but having said that, ClintEastwood is in my opinion at his best in all five. So if you are looking for a good clutch of films to buy then this may well be the one for you
I can thoroughly recommend this to any avid Eastwood fan...

Advantages: Moody, mysterious and marvellous Disadvantages: None
...I wanted to hate this film. Why? Because:
(a) It's got Sean Penn in and;
(b) ClintEastwood directed it.
Firstly I haven't got an overt dislike for Sean Penn but I have always found his performances lacking something, he seemed to be more well known for being a wild man rather than a fine actor. I also didn't particularly like him in Dead Man Walking, I thought that his performance was painful to watch, he was acting his heart out and you could see he was just acting so... and then he gets an Academy Award for his performance in Mystic River and I think, well, maybe...maybe in this performance he does deliver so...
Secondly, and I know this is going to vex many of you out there, I have never, and I repeat never liked ClintEastwood. Don't start pelting me with tomatoes just yet!! I have watched a good number of his movies...
