There are falconry days, children entertainers, a golf course for the enthusiast, hot air ballooning, educational visits for schools, vintage car weekends, open air musical concerts, themed evenings, and even celebrity evenings with Cliff Richards or Pavarotti. I would say there is certainly something there to whet anyone?s appetite. It has certainly made me want to go back again and again. We caught the land train back to the main entrance which is all part of the fun. The in laws and my husband all had a wonderful day and my father in law bought me a lovely little trinket box in the shop on the way out as a thank you present. Special needs. Advantages: A truly lovely castle
Disadvantages: Pricey entrance fee for one visit

...events which you can see if you go to the website. For example in 2008 there was a Easter Kite Festival from 21st - 24th March, Leeds Castle Horse Show from 26th-27th April, a jousting Tournament from 27th May - 1st June and there were many other such events. As well as those type of events Leeds Castle grounds were used for concerts and Shakespeare plays then in the winter months there are Firework Displays and of course the Christmas activities. At special times there are dining events, weddings can take place there and they have conferences and banquets there. I think that it is nice to know that a building is still useful as well as decorative, it keeps it alive more. There is also a pay and play golf course set in the grounds so if you live locally that would be a very special place to play golf but I am not sure of the cost or what... Read review

Advantages: lovely christmassy songs
Disadvantages: he has re mixed a lot of them

...favourite for all you cliff fans that he released a few years back. 3) Walking in the Air, this is a little slower than the original in the snowman. 4) Little town of Bethlehem, I was expecting the traditional version and was suprised at his twist on this song. 5) Marys born child, again he has slowed down the music and every word is crisp and clear. 6) Let it snow, I love anything to do with snow, but this is a classic and his singing and modern techniques makes this a warm song. 7) Saviours Day, what can I say, another Cliffs classic which is still the same as the day he recorded this. 8) Christmas is quiet, this is one that I have not heard before but it is quite good. Not my favourite on the track though. 9) White Christmas, this is a remixed version of the song. 10) Silent Night, again cliff brings a twist into what... Read review
