Click is a comedy film which was released in the UK on September 26th 2006 and stars comedy actor Adam Sandler. The film was directed by Frank Coraci whom also directed The Water Boy and The Wedding Singer; two funny comedy movies which also feature Adam Sandler as the main central character. Funnily enough the Director of Click Frank Coraci also played a small part in Click, where as he appeared as a male nurse; he also played a small part in the ... ...think that his acting in Click was probably the best I have seen him perform. Mainly because his character had quite a lot of depth and emotion throughout the whole of the film, however considering Sandler's character is more toned down in this film you can still immediately sense that he hasn't lost his comedic acting skills and this is shown a couple of times throughout the film. Adam Sandler was able to make very basic scenes in the film very ...

Advantages: One or two decent gags and Christopher Walken's quite good Disadvantages: We've seen it all before
Michael Newman is an overworked architect, unable to spend as much time with his family as he'd like. He just wishes life could be easier so he goes looking for a universal remote control. But the one that mad professor Monty gives him does exactly what it says - it controls his entire universe. Soon he's using the magical gadget to fast-forward through arguments with his wife, illness and visits with his parents. What he doesn't realise is that ... ...life and he won't be able to decide what events he's going to experience. Only then does he begin to understand what a precious commodity life is, even when you take the bad with the good.
"The Wedding Singer" director Frank Coraci reunites with Adam Sandler in this same old Adam Sandler movie; a loser protagonist pushed to breaking point, who reacts with sarcasm, bile and then anger. The problem is we've seen it all before, right down to the Rob ...

Advantages: Funny, easy feel good film Disadvantages: Kate Beckinsale, a bit predictable
...are written for laughs and Click is no exception. It sometimes feels like the writers started with the punch lines and just filled in the gaps afterwards which could contribute to why there isn’t really any spark between some of the characters. ***Cinematography/Special Effects***
Being a slightly futuristic film there were a few swirling, flashing lights moments which were all in keeping with the spirit of the film with none of the special effects ... ...to use the pause, rewind, fast forward and slow motion buttons, there is room for the special effects team to be a bit more creative allowing scenes to respond accordingly.
***Soundtrack***
There is some great music included that dates this film well. This seems to be a trend of Sandler’s. Music always plays an important part of his films as is shown in offerings such as the Wedding Singer. As Linger is Michael and Donna’s “song” from their first ...

Advantages: Great funny film Disadvantages: David Hasselhoff
I quite like Adam Sandler as an actor so when I saw this film in Asda I thought it would be worth a watch as I also remember seeing the trailers for it when it was released at the cinema and remembering it looking quite good. The film lived up to my expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed it. THE FILM
Michael Newman, played by Adam Sandler, has a lovely wife, played by Kate Beckinsale, and two children who he does not get to see very much of as he ... ...played by David Hasselhoff, keeps putting extra work and pressure onto him. He is working all the hours he can to provide for his family and to try and get the promotion to partner he so desperately wants. On evening when he is working hard at home he decided that he is going out to get an 'all in one' remote control for his house as he cannot work out which remote control works what and keeps pressing the wrong one. As he drives around looking for ...

Advantages: Great if your into the band Disadvantages: Hard to get into them via dvd if your not
...Cant complain, shows the band in their first year at the top playing tracks from their brilliant debut album which was tipped as being the best 'debut guitar album' since oasis's first released album.
The music that razorlight have produced on this album is very vibrant and has a certain edge to it but their combined live performance as a band just doesnt seem to click together on the dvd.
Some sections while watching tended to drag and the skip to next buttom was used on several occasions.
In general if you like the band then you'll like this but dont expect anything spectacular as the dvd doesnt provide it, the bonus features are rather poor, the highlight is a few music videos but there isnt much else to shout about.
Its a good buy if your a fan, if not then you may struggle to get into it....

Advantages: Funny, original and very engaging Disadvantages: None, just not amazing
...I wasn't expecting much from Click, with Adam Sandler playing the leading role. I usually don't like Sandler, as I find his movies immature and unintelligent comedy.
However, Click completely blew me away. It starts off with Adam Sandler's character, Michael Newman, finding he is having trouble managing both his family and work commitments. His wife, played by Kate Beckinsale, gets increasingly annoyed as he decides to spend more time at work to try and get a promotion.
When he goes to Bed, Bath and Beyond to get a universal remote, an eccentric engineer, Christopher Walken, offers him the opportunity to have a universal remote which can control time itself.
He accepts, and for a while he just messes around with the amazing gadget, which gives the special effects team a bit of room to play around. However, the remote has an auto remember...

Directed by Frank Coraci (THE WEDDING SINGER, THE WATERBOY), CLICK is about more than how much fun it would be to fast-forward through all of the boring and unpleasant parts of life. Instead, it reinforces the importance of making time for the most important things in life, with family at the top of the list. Overworked Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) just can't catch a break. His boss (David Hasselhoff) doesn't want to hear that he has family commitments, and his family is upset that he never has time for them. Michael might be doing the right thing in order to get ahead, but his wife, Donna (Kate Beckinsale), and children feel neglected. His breaking point: the multitude of remote controls in the house are driving him nuts, and Michael ventures out late one evening in search of a universal remote control to simplify his life. His quest leads him to the back room at Bed, Bath & Beyond and Morty (Christopher Walken), the archetypical mad scientist with wild hair, a bowtie, and zany glasses. Michael returns home armed with a top-of-the-line universal remote, but soon realises that it does more than control the household appliances: the new remote actually works on time and people. With a click, Michael finds himself fast-forwarding through fights with his wife, muting her irritating best friend, and changing the volume of his dog's bark. He's even able to return to scenes from his past complete with commentary. But when his life begins fast-forwarding out of control, Michael begins to understand the importance of spending time with the people you love, being invested in your life, and living every day to the fullest. Sandler is likable as Michael, and Walker is simultaneously dorky and creepy as Morty.
