Advantages: Quick way to tone up, Great for a trained dancer or a newbie, relaxing Disadvantages: Tiring
...People ask me about why I got this cd! I have danced since the age of 5 including ballet, and have lessons a couple of times a week in ballet and pointe. But My personal opinion for buying this dvd was because I enjoyed the first dvd. The first dvd had some good stomach and situps exercises, and I think this dvd can help improve any dancer technique and stregnth no matter how good they are.
But saying that this dvd and workout 1 are excellant for somebody who hasn't danced aswell as it guide you through each step and movement
New York City Ballet2 is designed to sculpt and tone your body; but attempts to be accessible to all, providing a glossary explaining ballet terminology and introducing such steps as Plies and Tendus.
Although the steps do not offer a cardio workout, if you did this dvd for 2 or 3 times every week or maybe...

Advantages: PERFECTION AND BEAUTY IN DANCE Disadvantages: NONE
...Going to see a Ballet is something I know which very few
people feel they would like to experience. It is i am sure just
lack of understanding about what Ballet really is. Ballet today
is performed by highly trained dancers who are of the same
fitness as any top athlete or sports person. To become a top

classes daily and do fitness training to enable you to be able to
control every muscle in your body. The stamina needed todance a 2-3 hour ballet is huge.
There are many great Ballets which I love but one of my great
favourites is a Grand Beautiful Ballet called La Bayadere. They
say if you don't enjoy La Bayadere you don't like ballet as this
is the most sumptuous feasts your eyes can ever be given The
combination of the music composed...

Advantages: Some excellent exercises that really work. Disadvantages: Very Advanced
...it.
Ouch Factor: 1
This is followed by Section 2: Warm Up Two and begins with the two girls stepping from side to side. I enjoyed this part the most. It revolves around much more footwork than the last section and, once the arms have been added in, more clearly resembles dancing. I also discovered that my body found these movements more natural than those that proceeded it. An added bonus was that it was a lot shorter, consisting of only a few repitions.
Ouch Factor: 0
Section3: Warm Up Three is the boy's turn and finished off the warm ups. This one involves a lot more leg work. Lots of bending of the knees, or should I say plies?, and standing on tip toes. It is quite clear how this exercise builds up the thigh muscles of those executing it. The circular motions of the arms added to it, while moving at double time, should also...
