Advantages: Good sound track
Disadvantages: Poor Quality

...I fully expected these recordings to be of a poor quality compared to today's standards as they would obviously be in the region of 50 years old. However, this DVD appears to be a compilation of various VHS recordings that have been recorded from recordings ...... from recordings ....... from recordings etc. until the quality has rendered the DVD virually unwatchable. In some cases the artists are barely recognisable. I have always been extremely satisfied with previous purchases from Amazon but in this case find it disappointing that Amazon should offer for sale an item of such inferior quality. I chose this item because I thought that the price of £22.99 would reflect the quality (as opposed to cheaper recordings) but find it hard to justify for a recording of this quality. ...! It's under your skin and your hairs are tingling. It's a very powerful song. It's picturesque, haunting and periodic with the magic of Christmas spirit. It's lyrics are collectivising, tragic, topical, optimistic, compassionate, vindictive, guilt-mongering and dareing all at once. An 80's classic doesn't cover it, it's an 80's masterpiece! Plus it was written completely from the heart and gut of the artist's beliefs. We then get the USA For Africa video for "We Are The World", which I've always thought of as too long, too twee and too melodramatic. Even so it is an interesting mirror image of Band Aid and a snapshot of 1980's musical new age positivity and unprejudiced love- and it comes off as noting if not sincere. ...This R&B CD is not like your normal CD this Cd is VERY different from all the rest of them sitting in shops right now. Essential R&B (The Very Best Of Summer 2004) has a varitey of different songs, from strong beat and fast load songs for example Mystikal - Shake Your Ass, to slow love songs like Donnell Jones - You Know How To Love Me (both on the Cd). This Cd is for anyone how likes a variation in their music or for anyone who likes R&B. so basically this cd is for EVERYONE!! I have this cd in my collection and I have downloaded it everywhere I can, from Ipod to 4 mdifferent computors and a laptop! I have never got bord listening to Great Tracks from various artists such as,Eamon, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, 2-Play, Usher, R Kelly, Outkast, Nas, Dizzee Rascal and Chingy.
