Classic Simpsons on a Classic DVD
Review of The Simpsons - Classics - Springfield Murder Mysteries DVD by  bigmike33

Advantages: Four classic episodes on one disc
Disadvantages: None

...In my opinion the quality of the Simpsons, particularly after season 14, has dipped somewhat. The episodes are still funny, but they're not as watchable as some of the classic episodes from earlier seasons. The reason for purchasing this DVD is that these four episodes are for me some of the finest, particularly the Who Shot Mr Burns episodes. This dvd contains four episodes, the two Who Shot Mr Burns episodes from seasons six and seven, and two Sideshow Bob episodes, Cape Feare from season five and Black Widower from season three. I consider Sideshow Bob and Mr Burns to be the most villanous characters on the show, so it's good to have them on one disc. Sideshow Bob, voiced by Fraiser's Kelsey Grammar, is a legendary Simpsons character, and his two episodes are brilliant. The first of these, Black Widower, sees Bob marrying Marge... Read review

Advantages: It has two great movies
Disadvantages: not much known about Dayar e madina..

...roles . The Music is by Mohammad D Shafi, who has scored impressive music for older films like Dara,Shikarpuri and Bazoobund... I would definitely buy this DVD as it has 2 classics in Chhalia and China town..... Read review

Second dose of this vintage classic comedy.
Review of Nearest And Dearest - Series 2 DVD by  GoodGuyBaz

Advantages: Funny series, made before political correctness etc...!
Disadvantages: No extras, original recording a bit rough and ready.

...are no extras on this DVD, a nice touch from Network DVD is that they included some of the original VT Clocks (the studio clock board counting down from 45 seconds to the start of the studio video recording). The original opening and closing titles are also used, as well as the titles before and after the half-way commercial break point of each episode, a good authentic touch. THE EPISODES Episode 1 - A BREACH OF THE PEACE - In this opening episode we first see Eli answering the door wearing one of Nellie's aprons. The person who has been banging at the door is a policeman who eyes the apron up and down mockingly. Eli tells him not to get the wrong impression and that he's making dumplings. I recognised the actor playing the policeman straight away as John Comer who played Mr Brandon in the great sitcom "I Didn't Know You Cared... Read review
