Extended interviews and features are included for this DVD, not shown in the TV broadcast. This DVD is divided into distinct sections, these being -The Introductory section - Analysis of tracks - Bonus Interviews and Features. All the menus (root and extras) are of a high standard, easy to use and fun to look at. INTRODUCTORY SECTION In the first part, music journalists (from Rolling Stone and Sounds magazines) discuss the initial impact of the group and of the NMTB album itself. ...Nirvana Nirvana was an American grunge band with Kurt Cobain on guitar and vocals, Dave Grohl (the longest lasting of many drummers) on drums and Krist Novoselic on bass. They sold over 50 million records worldwide and achieved mainstream success with "Smells like teen spirit" from the album Nevermind. As the first grunge band they opened the door for other band such as pearl jam, alice in chains and soundgarden. The bands came to an end when Kurt committed suicide in April 1994 although they still continued to, and still are, gaining fans.
