I will start this review with the most important thing to remember when looking to buy any of Jeremy Clarkson's DVDs and that is
even if you realy like cars you still may not enjoy this DVD,
but If you like Clarkson you will love it.

Thriller is good fun for anyone who enjoys Top Gear or any of his other DVDs and if you have seen any of his other stuff you will know the sort of things you can expect.
The humor is love it or hate it, i love it although it does get a bit silly at times ( at one point he drops a diesel engine from a crane to try and beat the diesel speed record and it "happens" ... ...tests are done as only Clarkson can do, he has his own sometimes surprising reasons why a car is good or bad ( or even thrilling ) which are not necasarily the same reasons as everyone else may think is important and after watching this DVD you still may not realy know why the winner was chosen.
Basicaly to sum up I found this a very enjoyable DVD and if you like Clarkson and have at least a passing interest in cars then i am sure ... more

You have to remember that in anything Jeremy does it's all about Jeremy. It's his humor, childish enthusiasm and genuine enjoyment of his subject that make this DVD enjoyable, the cars are almost secondary and just happen to be the things he is interested in. If you are expecting any sensible road tests you will be dissapointed..
The basic idea of this particular DVD is to find a car that provides the most thrills by testing them on track and on the road and then deciding wheather they were thrilling or not.
The type of cars he tests this time are mostly the fastest supercars there are such as Pagani Zonda, Aston Martin that sort of thing but his question is although these are fantastic and very fast cars, do they actualy THRILL him or not.
The road tests are done as only Clarkson can do, he has his own sometimes surprising reasons why a car is good or bad ( or even thrilling ) which are not necasarily the same reasons as everyone else may think is important and after watching this DVD you still may not realy know why the winner was chosen.

Welcome to my all new DVD which, as the name suggests, is all about thrills at the wheel. Aston Martin’s gentleman thug, the DBS, takes on its rivals from Italy. The lightweight Lamborghini Superleggera battles it out on the track with Ferrari’s 430 Scuderia and my test of the best takes me to the breathtaking roads of the Swiss Alps, the no limits German autobahn – and, er, Norfolk. I swap racing overalls for camouflage uniform to join the Marines at the controls of an all-terrain Viking before using its machine gun to shoot a Lexus…in the face.
The 200 mph Porsche 911 turbo struts its stuff in its natural habitat – the autobahn. And I get a lungful of turbocharged fresh air from the 240 mph Pagani Zonda Roadster F. Then there’s the rocket science – Clarkson-style – as I fit a Porsche 944 with rocket launchers (they only look like drainpipes wrapped in silver foil). I also blast fireworks at a speed camera and have a bit of an accident with a double-decker bus. I drop a 7-tonne diesel engine on to a Highways Agency traffic-womble car – doing my bit to tidy the roads…while creating the world’s fastest diesel. Plus I’m joined by tame racing driver The Stig who gets a big surprise – as do you when you see what he likes to do with sheep. And everything else explodes.
