in this latest edition of the Clarkson motoring series, he takes a trip across the globe to the Unites States of America-land. he is on a mission to find out if the American's have finally learnt how to make a decent car in the society that consists of disposable and throw away items that are there only to be cheap and last for a short while. in this episode he also takes the best we Europeans have to offer and puts it up against the best that the American's have to offer. now this is a must watch. he shows the sound the americans can get out of a V8 with a typical American V8 car, and shows the sound that the Europeans can get from a V8 with a new Ferrari- music to my ears!
he calls on the stig to lend a hand with a couple of challenges- like the lotus which beats the americans best offering- the Mustang (a tuned mustang no less).
Clarkson also gets his hands on the For Gt and its (topless!) cousin- the GTX1. the best of the Corvette's, Mustang (which gets beaten by a horse mustang!), a mad man with a machine gun, a cadilac, a Viper, a BMW Z4m and a Jag. this really is a laugh. only CLarkson could be stupid enough to step out from the pavement into a massive crossroad, and pray that the Americans will see him coming and give him right of way- on their road. lets hope they like him!!
a brilliant film for any can enthusiast- how does he get his hands on the best cars in the world??
