is redundant since every Clancy Brothers performance is no less than riveting. Their renditions of drinking songs such as The Jug of Punch, rebel songs such as Roddy McCorley, and classic folk tunes such as Johnny I Hardly Knew You all thrum with the energy and passion of heartbroken expats longing for the Old Sod. This collection has a few little known gems to back-up the classics.n

DVD Description
A balance of old Irish music favorites and a live show make up this hour long home video featuring interviews and concert footage. Filmed at the group's reunion concert at UIster Hall in Northern Island, the filmed performance highlights the traditional folk act's lively talent and dedication to recreating the spirited, indigenous songs of their Irish homeland.
Advantages: Rom-Com with substance Disadvantages: No Special Features
.... Matt Dillon is Tommy the local heart throb Casanova who struggles with the idea of settling with just one woman. Uma Thurman, turns up as the beautiful cousin of the bar manager Stanley, as well as being extremely good looking, she also understands that the guys are hitting a crisis point and tries to help them. Also look out for David Arquette as Willie's brother.
The comedy factor of the film is brilliantly interspersed through out the film; this is not the normal slapstick, clowning around style comedy, but a much darker style of comedy. There is very few references to visual humour in this film but relies on an excellent script. For example, one of my favourites is when Andera is chatting to Willie at the piano;

Tommy – “Did you hear I finally graduated College?”
Richard – “Yeah and just a shade under a decade alright”
Tommy – “You know allot of people go to College for 7 years”
Richard – “I know . . . Their called Doctors”
Tommy – “Huh”...

Advantages: BRILLIANT ENTERTAINMENT ! Disadvantages: YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN?
...recently produced videos. I however enjoy watching it even now. The lyrics Springsteen writes are often about people struggling for freedom from the lives they are leading, and pressures they are under they also contain lots of personal subject matter. He has also been involved with many emergency relief efforts.
DISC 1:
ROSALITA (COME OUT TONIGHT) 1978 - Lively stage performance, poor quality, but watchable to see a very young Springsteen wowing the crowd along with a very young E Street Band. This appeared on one of his first albums.
THE RIVER 1980 - In concert, poor quality, but such an excellent ballad that its stands up well. It was written about his brother-in-law and his sister, Springsteen introduces this as a new song! Anyone studying body language might know the cause of him fluttering his eyelids throughout the song! Good piano...
