This dvd is great value for money as you get two tales for the price of one. They are both great tales which many of you have definatly heard of before in story books the tales are Cinderella and Sleeping beauty.They are both classic tales which have been around for many years both in books and on film.
CINDERELLA Cinderella is a kind and beautiful young girl,unfortunatly her father has remarried and his new wife is evil and greedy and she has two selfish stepsisters.who treat Cinderella like a slave. The terrible trio have stolen all of cinderellas clothes and made her sleep on ther floor she is also forced to work from morning till night cleaning and scrubbing in dirty old rags. Meanwhile the prince of the land has come of age and the king and queen want him to marry,but the prince does not want just any old wife he wants to choose for himself as he wants to marry for love. His desperate parents trhen decide to hold a spledid ball and invites every girl in the land.surely out of all the girls in the land one of them will be able to win the princes heart. When the day of the ball arrives the wicked stepmother and stepsisters go to the ball making cinderella stay behind at home. Cinderella is feeling really sad because she really wants to go to the ball,just then along comes her fairy godmother who grants her wish she turns mice into beautiful horses a pumpkin into the most gracious carraige and with a wave of the magic wand a really beautiful ball gown all the god mother asks is that she be back by midnight. Will she win the heart of the prince? youll have to watch it and see.
SLEEPING BEAUTY Well this story begins when a king and queen give birth to a beautiful baby girl. All the the kingdoms people come to present the new princess with beautiful gifts.Among the people is a nasty witch named Ursula her present for the princess is to cast an evil spell on her and the spell is that when she grows up she will prick her finger on the spool of a spinning wheel which will cause her to fall into a deep sleep for a hundred years. The king was petrified and gave an order to have all spinning wheels in the country to be destroyed but little did he know that one spinning wheel was still left. One day when the princess had grown she was out in the garden playing when she ran into the nasty ursula who showed the princess the spinning wheel she persuaded the princess to have a go and low and behold she pricked her finger and fell into a very deep sleep which would last 100 years. To find out how the spell was broken and how once again joy was brought to the kingdom youll have to watch the movie. This amazing cartoon is full of magic,music and fun which will captivate children of all ages.

The nursery ryme feature is really great because it sings the nursery ryhme and also has the words up on the screen so you can sing along with it my kids really love nursery ryhmes and this dvd is really great fun for them as they get to watch two wonderful films and also sing along to nursery rhymes aswell which is great if you dont have time to sit and sing with them you just put on the dvd and they join in. This dvd is rated universal and lasts about an hour in all and it only costs about £5 from stores such as pound strecher or you can get it off the ebay
