Theres loads of killer doll movies out there, but Childs Play has to be one of the best.
Childs Play is the story of serial killer, Charles Lee Ray who is killed in a shoot out with police, not before being angered by his partner leaving him for dead. But just before he dies he recites a voodoo spell sending his soul into a goodguy doll.
The story moves to Andy, a little boy who loves goodguys, and guess what he gets for his birthday.....Chucky.
Soon the fun starts, Chucky doesn't let his size stop him from slicing and dicing. Andy is soon under suspision for the killings, no one beleives him that Chuckys alive. Also Chucky needs Andy, he wants to recite the voodoo spell and take over Andys body.
Anyway the film climaxes with Andy, his mum and a cop in a battle with Chucky, (the part where Chuckys body, missing the head, an arm and a leg, still crawling is excellent and reminds me of the final moments of Terminator.)
As you can tell from the sequels, they can keep killing Chucky, but he keeps going.
All in all an excellent film.
