But Chorlton always prevails over all of her evil plans. You follow his adventure through 13 episodes on this DVD and kids today would love it, Guaranteed.
If Chorlton had been created today the spin off in merchandise would have earned quite a bit with characters such as, Chorton himself, his friends… Zoomer, King Otto and Queen Doris, and Jenny.
Equally lucrative would have been the evil ones, Fenella and her cohorts, Claptrap, O'reilly, the toadies and the spikers. Not to mention a huge pal tea pot, Spout hall.

Sound and picture quality is very good. There are no extras to speak of but to be honest if its for the kiddies then they wont be interested in them anyway.
But it for the kiddies or as a treat for the grandkids. (or maybe just for yourself). Costs £6 from Amazon.
Advantages: Kids will love it Disadvantages: Nothing

The adventures of Chorlton and his friends from Wheelie World. There are 13 episodes on this single DVD but you will love it. It was broadcast between 1976 - 1979, and if you watched TV in the 70s then this was one of those weird yet charming animated series.
The theme tune should jog all memories of people who remember Chorlton.
"Jump in we'll take you for a spin and show you round the Wheelie ... ...is Hatched", wherein, of course, Chorlton arrives fully formed in Wheelie World via an enormous egg. Which had "made in Chorlton-cum-hardy" on the inside of the egg, hence Chorlton got his name.
