I first saw most of this film at my girlfriends house but she wouldnt let me watch the rest of it because it was too gruesome for her and the violence was rather in your face. So I went out bought it instead, so I could watch it by myself.
This film is dangerous excitement and stunning innovation all rolled into one. A sensational feature debut from director Andrew Dominik is an exhilirating sharp shock to the system revealing the no holes barred story of the notorious Ozzy criminal Mark 'CHOPPER' Read.
Told in flashback as Read serves one of his many prison sentences, this extreme biography shows the brutality and wicked sense of humour of a man who alledgedly committed 19 murders and got away with them.
This film is a mix of real life facts about Chopper and a pupl fiction kind of imagery to the film, which really shows the dark days of this evil man. Played by Eric Bana (Hulk), where he plays Chopper Read so well. Also its a multi award winning film and capturing the talents of austrailian film.
