This film is about a man called Caractus Potts who has two children calledJeremy and Jemima they live with Caractus's father. Caractus is a would be inventor he had invented some sweets that whistle. Jeremy and Jemima like playing in this old car that a junk man bought for scrap and their father buys the car and in his workshop he does the car up and when its finally ready Caractus and his kids go for a picnic and on their way they bump into Truly Scrumptious and invite her along. There are some men after Caractus for his invention on the car. They go to Caractus home where they mistake his father for him so Caractus and the kids along with Truly fly the car after Caractus's father. They see Caractus father being taken into a castle so they land in the nearest town seen by the king so the king sends out some men and the child snatcher. The king and queen do not like children so when Caractus, Truly and the children get to the town the toy-maker hides them in his cellar. When the children are left on their own they are fooled by the child snatcher pretending to be giving away sweets so he can snatch them and take them to the castle. Truly and Caractus see this and try and work out how they are going to rescue the children and Caractus father.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is a great film. If you have children it would be a great film for them to watch and the acting from the children is really superb.

im sorry i have not rated higher but it just needs a teeny bit more info on what your oinions were. How did the film make you feel? were there any scary parts in? is it a musical, so what types of songs are they? also are there any features? ill be happy to come back and re rate if you change it at all? :) x
