Children Of Men DVD

Advantages: Amazing film, wonderful cast, gorgeously depicted from start to finish
Disadvantages: Hopeful yet inconclusive ending

...by P.D. James, entitled "The Children of Men" so we cannot credit Cuaron with all the insight and thoughts about this particular scenario. But obviously he was the one who gave it cinematic screens, and brought the whole scenario to life, so to speak. ...and you are just taken to 2027 where this is happening, and with such an "out-there" movie, that is no mean feat. Of course, the other people who really do bring the films, and its characters, to life are the actors who star in it. Children of men was the first film in ages that I had seen a trailer for and been desperate to see the movie. This was a while ago now and I have seen the movie three times since and loved it as much each time. ...i purchased this dvd about three weeks ago and after seeing the series on the tv i was amazed that i was still hooked . this series is good for the whole family but you might want to check it as there is some swearing and sex involved. There is something in this series for everyone, for the children there are aliens and the fact that theres amazing affects and excitement. For the men theres a lot of violence and sexy scenes. There is also a womens aspect as this a action based, alien, crime detective thriller. This dvd is also packed with loads of speical features and deleted scenes. There is a large amount of viewing time to be had out of this dvd and so it is great value for money.... Read review

...is that you can easily skip the tracks you don't like. At Xmas I bought this double bill DVD for £9.99 from Play.com and, in my opinion, it is great value and I dare you not to end up singing at least 1 song !! PS. For those of you truly worried about 4 men who would enjoy singing and dancing together, reading the DVD credits the production team, office staff and children in the DVD share many of the same surnames as the stars of the show making it very much a family affair.... ...I first saw this film before it was released on DVD and loved it from beginning to end. Its a PIXAR animation studios film presented by Walt Disney Pictures. A film for all men, women and children. Extremely funny and even though I've now seen it at least 6 times, could still watch it again with pleasure. My kids are aged between 2 and 10 and all love it are often heard copying the characters, their favourite being my review title. The storyline, without giving too much away, is about a little orange and yellow clownfish called Nemo. It starts off with Nemo's mother and father trying to decide on names for all the thousands of babies (still eggs) but sadly, along comes a very hungry fish who knocks Nemo's father unconcious and eats Nemo's mother and all of the eggs except for one - Nemo!
