We all love Wallace and Gromit, and Nick Park can even make you love chickens. The characters are all hilarious, and sometimes you forget that you're watching an animation because you get so involved in the story. Basically, there is a chicken farm and they want to escape. When Rocky, the flying rooster arrives on the scene, they see this as their big break and comedy follows on watching all the chickens getting fit, and learning to fly.
It is an astounding film, extremely well-rounded, it looks fantastic, the story is great, the characters are funny - in an eggshell this really is a fab film. I would think it would appeal to all ages, as there are jokes for everyone, it's definitely a family film. If you haven't seen it, then make sure you do - it's eggcellent.

Advantages: A lot more entertaining for teenagers/adults then you'd expect. Good plot and good writing. Disadvantages: Much of the script would go way over the heads of younger kids. Certain people may feel that it should be PG rather than U.
