when this film was advertised on tv my kids nagged at me till we went to see it at the cinema and to my suprise even i actually enjoyed watching it.
This movie is based on a little chicken who rang the town bell to warn them that the sky was falling but when he took the towns people to the place where he said the sky had hit him no one would believe him and said that it was just an acorn that had fallen and hit him on the head when actually it was an invisible hexigan shape that had hit him on the head.
Chicken little told his friends about this shape which turned out to be part of an alien space ship which was based on the towns baseball field. Chicken little and his friends boarded the space ship to have a look round for one of his other friends as he had been carried off into the ship by the invisible shape.
They came across a furry little alien with three eyes and fled from the ship to warn the town of the space craft but once again no one believed poor chicken little until it was to late as there were space crafts all over town shhoting at everything and everyone.
one of the baby aliens had got lost when the space craft took off and now there was an invasion of space crafts looking for the baby.
It is down to chicken little and his pals to track down the correct space craft and return the baby alien back to its rightfull parents. Will he be able to return the baby in time before the town gets totally destroyed.
This movie is really great in my opinion it is a bit like an animated version of war of the worlds or indipendence day with the alien invasion. The film is also a little bit like the boy who cried wolf as when chicken little rang the bell the first time to say the sky was falling they said it was an acorn not the sky so after that they would not believe a word he said even though he was telling the truth.
This really is truly a funny animated film and is also quite moving it is fun for all age groups kids sit for hours watching this movie it keeps them quiet.
This film is based on the movie itself and not the dvd as i have only seen this movie at the pictures and also watched it at a friends house so i cannot comment on the dvd extras.
