The story is probably already familiar to many, it’s set in the 1920s and it’s all about the razzle dazzle of jazz. Roxie Hart (Renee Zellweger) is a Chicago housewife who dreams of being a star of the stage. Velma Kelly (Catherine Zeta-Jones) is the town's hot chorus act who dreams of increasing her fame. Both women find themselves in jail; however Roxie killed her lover after finding out that he wasn't telling the truth about how he could advance her career, while Velma killed her husband when she found him with her sister. Awaiting trial, with only prison-matron Mama Morton (Queen Latifah); their roguish lawyer, Billy Flynn (Richard Gere); and the press to lean on in their time of need, both stars are fighting over press coverage to win fame and sympathy.
This film is a must have it is very enjoyable for any age group with the brilliant script and all the singing and dancing you will watch this film more than once. The songs in this are very catchy hope that you enjoy this film as much as I did.
There is also very good bonus viewing with behind the scenes action

Sorry but really didn't find this op useful at all, I've seen the film but for someone who hasn't you don't really help out an awful lot. Again you could do with adding info on the plot, who it stars, a little on your opinion if it, would you recommend it, etc. Hope this helps, if you do edit will be happy to re-rate for you so just leave me a message in my guest book, Sarah x
