Get Out Of My Room (1985): A mock documentary filmed mostly in and around LA with ... more
interviews of Cheech and Chong interspersed between four videos of songs from their last album. Songs include: 'Get outta my room' and 'Born in East LA'. Next Movie (1980): Cheech and Chong bring their own inimitable style of humour to the screen once again in this riotous comedy. Cheech is a "cool" ladies' man for a big film studio whilst his spaced-out unemployed friend Chong keeps getting him into trouble. Together they take off on a round of adventures that take them through a movie studio a massage parlour a police raid the living room of a very rich family and finally through the roof. 'Cheech and Chong's Next Movie' is bold audacious underground fun where the action never lets up and the laughter never dies. Born In East L.A. (1987): One-half of the hip comic duo behind such classic albums as Big Bambu and hit movies like Up in Smoke Richard "Cheech" Marin wrote and directed this film based on his best-selling record parody. In his first solo screen appearance Marin stars as Rudy Robles who is accidentally deported to Mexico without I.D. or knowledge of Spanish and cant' convince the U.S. officials to let him return. Unable to contact his vacationing family or communicate with his newly immigrated cousin Javier * (Paul Rodriguez).

Cheach and Chong are running what looks like an ice cream business adequately named "Happy Herb's Nice Dreams".
The ice cream is a special type of ice cream, as you would expect from these two characters ...
Advantages: This is hilarious - if you're of the juvenile persuasion. Disadvantages: This is terribly offensive, disgusting, and occasionally delves into sacrilege.
cetera – trust me, it’s the funniest part of the whole damned film).
Ray, the suspected homosexual who gets hot and heavy with the clown toward the middle of the film.
Shorty – well duh! How could the pothead NOT be the coolest in this film?
Whatever the case, don’t expect this to be a clone of the original. It is every bit as fresh and brilliant as Scary Movie, but takes on an entirely different focus despite using most of the original cast of characters. It is not the ultra suave adult-oriented film some people wish it were, but it is far from cheap comedy.
I enjoyed it because it made me laugh until tears rolled down my eyes.
I enjoyed it because the acting is not outstanding, but that is beside the point: The comedy is first-rate, though it will remind you of old Cheech & Chong films in some ...
Advantages: Hilarious acting and side splitting scenes Disadvantages: none from me
the audience.
Chong, (who's character name Antony Stoner is mentioned only once, then he is only known as ' Man') comes from a good American family. He is an unemployed hippie who has a laid back attitude to life and feels misunderstood by his parents, who eventually gets kicked out of home by them and ends up on the street.
Cheech,(character name 'Pedro de Pacas') is your typical Mexican trying to earn a living just to live.

This is where the real fun starts and the drugs run freely, with Chong handing Cheech a big 'spliff' which he says is made with 'Labrador ...
