This film totally rocks! Whether you're a bloke watching it and pretending not to eye the women up (my husband does this!) or a woman watching and thinking, wow, i wish i could bend like this, there is definitely something for everyone! RATING: This film is rated a 15, due to the fight scenes in it. There is hardly any swearing in it, and no sex scenes, apart from a bit of kissing here and there!
STARRING: It stars Cameron Diaz (the Mask) as Natalie, Drew Barrymore (the Wedding Singer) as Dylan and Lucy Liu (Ally McBeal) as Alex, these are the angels. Bill Murray (Groundhog Day) is brilliant as Bosley, and the original Charlie (John Forsythe) does the voice in this one! The "baddies" are Sam Rockwell (Green Mile), Kelly Lynch (Homegrown), Crispin Glover (Nurse Betty) and Tim Curry (Congo).
THE PLOT: The storyline is a good one, the Angels start off with an assignment to rescue someone who's been kidnapped, and recover some stolen software. But the plot unfolds, and the actuality is that someone wants to kill Charlie, which predictably turns into the Angel's main mission! (Not killing him, but stopping his killer!)
SOUNDTRACK: The soundtrack is pretty good, the main theme, or the "anthem" if you like, is Independent Women by Destinys Child, an apt choice! Apollo 440 also features, as well as clips of Michael Jackson, Blur and others throughout the film.
SPECIAL EFFECTS: The special effects are pretty good in this film, including a blown-up helicoptor, a skydive, more things being blown up, and several quite Bond-like ideas.
OTHER BITS! The Angels trained for 6 months solid before this film, 8 hours a day! And it's worth it, flips, backflips, leaping here there and everywhere is a great part of this film! The extras on this DVD are quite awesome, it is only a one disk DVD, but you get: "Welcome to Angel World" - Featurette "Angelic Attire" - Featurette "Getting G'd Up" - Featurette The Master and the Angels Angelic Effects Wired Angels Scene Deconstruction 3 Deleted/Extended Scenes with intro from Mcg Outtakes Destinys Child/Apollo 400 music vids Feature length commentary 5 trailers Weblink Filmographies Animated Menus
I bought this for 19.99 and have seen it many, many times since! It's totally watchable and will have you on the edge of your seat. Full of humour and action, worth the money.

Advantages: Cameron Diaz and...that's about it Disadvantages: Poor acting, poor script, poor plot, rubbish villain, totally unbelievable, a shameless rip-off - mocks the memory of the much, much better MI and Matrix
Advantages: Super sexy, mega styling, nice soundtrack... Disadvantages: No story, bad acting, cheesy gags, ridiculous action, tacky product placement, a character coming back from the dead and pathetic baddies. Oh well, the TV series was rubbish too.......

Review of Charlie's Angels (DVD)
Advantages: Anything that has Cameron Diaz in it, wet and 'unzipped' to the waist has got to get 5 stars Disadvantages: not sure Lucy Liu was the right casting for the 3rd 'Angel'

Review of Charlie's Angels (DVD)
Advantages: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz... Disadvantages: The most stupid film ever, even worse than The Avengers, possibly as bad as Batman and Robin
