I'm self employed working with FLP - Aloe Vera products. Being a chartered engineer also trained in tiling, plastering and bricklaying you could say I'd turn my hand to anything! Let's face it, life's too short not to do different things!

My parents have recently bought a DVD player, and after having seen it some time ago, I watched Charlie's Angels on it today. I am converted! The director's, McG, comments were absolutely fascinating! The house Drew drops into naked (after she's been shot out of the window in her sheet!) is apparently the same house they filmed ET in - talk about a full circle! Look out for the M&Ms in the garden, ET poster in the room and toy ET on the shelf. They also bring to your attention all the little mistakes you just wouldn't have noticed otherwise. It was amazing finding out just how they did all those stunts too.
As for the movie itself, it's a really good film if all you want is to be entertained by something that isn't exactly believeable, but you just want to be one of those angels anyway! You get the feeling the actors all really enjoyed making it, and if you are looking for a bit of mindless action, bright colours, cool moves and of course, for the boys, Cameron, Drew and Lucy in wetsuits and various other guises then this is the movie for you.
The general gist of the story is that it's based ont he Charlies Angels series that was on TV. Charlie (as always!) is never seen, but his life is under threat from the very guys that recruit the Angels. This leads to impressive stunts from The Angels in exotic locations (and not so exotic!). One of the funniest moments for me is when Diaz does her dancing in the club - she really just goes for it and lets her hair down!
I would definitely recommend Charlie's Angels for a bit of a laugh, and the DVD has got me hooked - I might just have to get a player myself!

As this is the category for the dvd I would have expected to see some of the features that differed on the dvd than would be on a video. If you add more to the review let me know so I can update my rating. Best wishes. Fionaxx

Advantages: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz... Disadvantages: The most stupid film ever, even worse than The Avengers, possibly as bad as Batman and Robin
Advantages: Anything that has Cameron Diaz in it, wet and 'unzipped' to the waist has got to get 5 stars Disadvantages: not sure Lucy Liu was the right casting for the 3rd 'Angel'
