I’ve always been a huge fan of movies where Women kick ass! And this movie had it all, action, comedy, romance and really knew how to get ya going! I’ve seen the 70's TV show and it was ok for that era but this is total makeover and I loved it!
The movie is all about a guy who gets kidnapped and has his special software stolen and the angels need to uncover the mystery, which equals loads of excellent fight scenes and loads of action. The fights were choreographed really well and the matrix style fighting was great, but really pulled the movie away from reality even more, I felt the fight scenes where their flying weren’t really needed as they actually fitted in, in the movie the matrix but looked a bit odd her, but still some excellent fight scenes, I especially liked the fight scene where the girls are chasing strange thin man from the restaurant, and the track 'Smack my B*tch up' by the Prodigy is playing in the background. That just added a brilliant effect. I really liked the fight scenes and you can tell that the girls trained hard for the movie, as that’s all Cameron talked about in the interviews! Cameron also did a mean kick after the soul train gig, which was pretty cool!
One of my favourite scenes had to be when white girl Natalie was shakin her thang at soul train, she did a great job, looked cool and her dance moves were very cool!
The movie isn’t all action and girls in skimpy gear, it also has quite a clever story which I liked, I know there were rumours while the movie was in production that they had no ending but I guess it turned out well!
A lot of people (especially the guys) wanted to see this movie because Of Cameron, Lucy and Drew, and they were great as Natalie, Alex and Dylan. Bosley played by Bill Murray was also very funny as he 'protected' the girls. Tom Green who was also in the movie played Barrymore's love interest, he's also her real life partner, what's weirder was that Drew's ex boyfriend Luke Wilson played Diaz's love interest, that must have felt slightly odd for miss Barrymore but since she produced the movie, it couldn’t have been much of a problem. Matt Le Blanc played Lucy Liu’s love interest, but I must admit he barely came in the movie, which was a bit disappointing.
I would recommend this movie to the girls, cause it really shows women being independent as Destiny’s child like to say, and I would recommend this to the guys because, well do I really need to say why?
This movie is great and different it doesn’t take itself too seriously and isn’t all action but has a lot of comedy too, it also has a brilliant soundtrack! I say go check this out!

Review of Charlie's Angels (DVD)
Advantages: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz... Disadvantages: The most stupid film ever, even worse than The Avengers, possibly as bad as Batman and Robin
