Charlies Angels is based on the TV series, and I am afraid to say due to my young age I have never seen any episode of it! And after watching the film, I probly wont even bother! Although I am told, the tv series was nothing like it.
I am told that the series was fairly serious, and the film was definatly not that! All it was, was an upto date version of Austin Powers, with it being very 'spoof' like! It basicall takes the micky out of the Matrix, James Bond and Mission Impossible among a number of others!
The film is about three secret agents, working for Charlie, their mission is to find out who kidnapped part owner of a company who have discovered how to track someone, by anylising their voice to find out who they are. It all works out as a set up, and the kidnapping was a set-up in order to get the girls working for them, to enable them to get Charlie, and thats basically it. The story was a little weak, and im glad I borrowed it off a friend rather than paid £19.99 for it!

You might first think, oh yeah, just another chick flick, and thats wot I thought to start with, and in a way it is. But one thing that takes it slightly away from that is the sex appeal from the three angels!So if you want to know whether to buy it, I wouldnt personnaly, but do what I did and borrow it, it is still worth a bit of a watch! Enjoy, or not as the case may be, it is pesonnal opinion!
