Ok, here's the thing. I like this movie. Not because its one of those kick-ass, never send a boy to do a woman's job type films, but because it understands what it is. That is its a film based on a cheesy 70/80's series involving three (count 'em) beautiful ladies who go out and solve crime, while having perfect hair and big smiles.
Thankfull the film decided to embrace this concept and take it further - making it something of a camped-up, girl power homage to the sense of fun that the series pumped out on a weekly basis. That's not to say it doesn't have its problems. There are a few dodgy plot moments, some blatantly gratuitous yodelling, and something of an underused Bill Murray. But then, Bosely never was that important to the plot....
DVD - wise, it has some nice features, plenty of promo documentaries, especially useful if you want to emulate that "Angel" look. There are a few shortcomings, for instance the "bloopers" are just a repeat of whats shown in the end title sequence. On the other hand, the music videos aren't bad, and it was pretty fun to be able to bactrack through the stars' previous films... Overall a good slice of cheesy fun, with a side order of moonwalking and oh, hey a "Ling" moment thrown in for good measure!

Advantages: Anything that has Cameron Diaz in it, wet and 'unzipped' to the waist has got to get 5 stars Disadvantages: not sure Lucy Liu was the right casting for the 3rd 'Angel'

Review of Charlie's Angels (DVD)
Advantages: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz... Disadvantages: The most stupid film ever, even worse than The Avengers, possibly as bad as Batman and Robin
