With all the hype that surrounded the release of this movie and after many of my friends telling me about how good it was, when I finally went to see it it was a big anti-climax.
The movie lacks any hint of a decent plot and is about as predictable as they come. I know movies are supposed to be unrealistic but this really takes the biscuit. The Drew Barrymore window scene is just taking the p*** out of the audience.
I find it hard to take Drew Barrymore seriously in an action role - I just don't think she can pull it off. Neither can cameron Diaz for that matter, and come to think of it neither can Lucy Liu - but she is slightly more tolerable than the others.
The best things about this movie are the three main actresses - Cameron Diaz is stunning and you wouldn't kick the other two out of bed either.
I would only advise you to go to this movie either if you are a big fan of Matrix-style effects or you have had a large part of your brain removed and cannot tell reality from your imagination. Certainly any sane person with a mental age of over 15 will have trouble accepting this seriously.

Advantages: Anything that has Cameron Diaz in it, wet and 'unzipped' to the waist has got to get 5 stars Disadvantages: not sure Lucy Liu was the right casting for the 3rd 'Angel'

Review of Charlie's Angels (DVD)
Advantages: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz... Disadvantages: The most stupid film ever, even worse than The Avengers, possibly as bad as Batman and Robin
