If you can get past the annoying "Girl Power!" part, and the so obvious hairflicking and cleavage showing definitely designed for blokes, this is actually quite a good movie! I spent the first part of the film groaning at the unsubtle "chicks can do anything, and look stunning in the process" lines and actions, then started getting in to the nature of the movie. I think you really have to enter into the spirit and appreciate this really is where the series came from. The idea of the TV series was to put 3 women who look stunning and can really handle themselves into a crime world where they invariably win. It wasn't to create believable crimes that take the likes of Miss Marple to solve. It's an action movie.
Unfortunately, as an action movie it really is trying too hard to take on too many other movies. You get the slow fighting scenes from The Matrix, and Drew Barrymore predicting her movements to very sceptical thugs whilst tied to a chair, just like Arnie in True Lies to name the two I picked up on alone.
The girl's relationships are very obviously designed to show their feminine 'bimbo' side, especially Diaz, but make them at least perhaps a bit believable as characters. If you're male, you're sure to love this film if nothing else then for the scene as the girls walk up the beach taking their clothes off (and yet again Miss Diaz is wearing a top which doesn't even reach her belly button - if anyone can spot a scene when she's not, I'd like to know!).
Overall, once you get past the reverse stereotypes, the movie is very entertaining!
