I loved this film, I didn't want to, it was one of those wet Sunday afternoon cinema trips to kill time. I remember the original Angels, although not particularly fondly.
The beginning of the film had me wondering what the hell I was doing there, the cheese rating of the aircraft / speed-boat sequence was at least 9/10, this however was just setting us up for the main story, which doesn't take too many brain cells to work out.
Don't watch Angels if you want to be intellectually challenged.
Do watch Angels if you love 'Matrix' style fight scenes and effects, slow motion bullets etc. Also watch it if you appreciate beautiful women in un-necessarily tight and revealing clothes, nice cars, the usual eye fodder.
Bill Murray looked a bit out of place as the Angel's chaperone, although quite in keeping with the original.
The soundtrack was nothing special with the exception of the Heart track.
Not a classic, but who cares. I'd watch it again any day and hope there is a sequel planned.

Advantages: A glossy finish. Good looking cast. Tim Curry's acting. Disadvantages: People will have their own idea about the film before they go to see it - and the movie might not be what they expected.
Advantages: Anything that has Cameron Diaz in it, wet and 'unzipped' to the waist has got to get 5 stars Disadvantages: not sure Lucy Liu was the right casting for the 3rd 'Angel'

Advantages: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz... Disadvantages: The most stupid film ever, even worse than The Avengers, possibly as bad as Batman and Robin
