Any film that makes Mission Impossible 2 look intellectual has got to be the most stupid film ever. I just cannot explain how unbelievably ridiculous this ilm is, if it was a Naked Gun sequal maybe it would be forgivable. This film seems to have pretensions of being serious to an extent, however.
Admittedly, the only reason I watched this film (well, two reasons) were Drew Barrymore, gorgeous as always, and Cameron Diaz, even more radiant than she was in "My Best Friend's Wedding". So as you can see my expectations of a plot weren't huge in the first place, but you do expect SOMETHING. However, there is nothing here. If the cameraman is to be believed, Lucy Lui's hair is the most important constituent of the film.
I don't remember the orgiinal 70's series, but if it was anything like this I can't understand why it has a cult following. Bill Murray's character is just stupid, and the rest are thinly drawn, some to the point of transparency.
I can't recommend this to anyone but ardent fans of Drew or Cameron, and even then only those who seriously don't want their brains involved in the viewing process.
Also I can't stand Destiny's Child so even that's a negative point!

Advantages: Anything that has Cameron Diaz in it, wet and 'unzipped' to the waist has got to get 5 stars Disadvantages: not sure Lucy Liu was the right casting for the 3rd 'Angel'
