I wasn't sure about going to see Charlie's Angels until a friend dragged me on the day of its release. I have to admit I was highly entertained for the two hours. After seeing various trailers of scantily clad Drew, Lucy and Cameron, I was skeptical. The buzz word of this film would have to be 'fun'. It comes across as a complete send up, withall three of the girls flicking their hair at every conceivble opportunity and an abundance of shots of Cameron's 10ft legs! the three girls are quite good in the film with the worst being Lucy Lui (a little wooden and trying far too hard to be funny) and the best being Cameron D, who is the most amusing person in the film, along with a short performance from Drew Barrymore's fiance Jeff Green as her on screen boyfriend. The plot is simplified to say the least and it doesn't take a genius to work out who the real baddie is. The soundtrack is superb and diverse and the camera work at some points cashes in on the matrix style slow motion, as are many action films at the moment. Overall, a fun film, not too taking so leave your brain at home and enjoy the ride.
