Went to see the film tonight... Bit dubious as some of the reviews have been less than good
I was Pleasantly supprised to find that this film is very good.
Its shot in the style of the original series, which will appeal to all the fans of the original series, whilst bringing in a whole wealth of new fans.
The most impressive aspect of this film is Cameron Diaz, she simply shines, oozing charm, and sexuality. Despite a rather lacklustre script, she puts in a funny, and sexy performance.
The much hyped fightscenes, are impressive, but not polished enough for a film of this calibre. The girls perform well, but they cant fight and that does show in some scenes, and the Matrix style moves, are not that well shot, and you can spot drew barrymore dangling from a wire in one scene
Also the tongue in cheek script does wane a little at the end, and the film starts taking itself too seriously.
These minor points aside, i would recommend this film, if only for Cameron Diaz

Advantages: Anything that has Cameron Diaz in it, wet and 'unzipped' to the waist has got to get 5 stars Disadvantages: not sure Lucy Liu was the right casting for the 3rd 'Angel'

Advantages: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz... Disadvantages: The most stupid film ever, even worse than The Avengers, possibly as bad as Batman and Robin
