Charlie's Angels is probably the most wasted time of my life I've experienced. It was predictable, obvious, dull and had no story line. In short, it was two hours of women in very skimpy clothes jumping around and getting wet. It wasn't even slightly subtle. There were obvious sex scenes, which really had no purpose other than to be slightly crude and obviosuly the good guy turned out to be really evil and there was a scheme being worked... dun dun derrrrr..... The women, who were meant to be very strong and also independant, seemed to be very thin and take orders from other people. If they truly were that good at their job, they wouldn't take orders from anyone, especially not some guy they've never seen before. Totally a male-film created to make males feel dominant once again over today's strong females (I'm not biased, honest!).

I don't think they work for Charlie for free but you've made some interesting points. It's that debate about whether woman can wear nice looking clothes without automaticly being described as "weak" or only there for eye candy.

Advantages: A glossy finish. Good looking cast. Tim Curry's acting. Disadvantages: People will have their own idea about the film before they go to see it - and the movie might not be what they expected.
Advantages: Anything that has Cameron Diaz in it, wet and 'unzipped' to the waist has got to get 5 stars Disadvantages: not sure Lucy Liu was the right casting for the 3rd 'Angel'

Review of Charlie's Angels (DVD)
Advantages: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz... Disadvantages: The most stupid film ever, even worse than The Avengers, possibly as bad as Batman and Robin
