I saw Charlies Angels in the cinema last night and totally enjoyed it. It has received so much hype in recent weeks and all through filming that it was sure to be a disappointment. Well I am glad to report that it is not!
The films has so many stars in it that I am going to give you a report on four of the main characters. Lots of newspapers and magazines reported that the main girls didnt get on in this film. Well it didnt show in the actual film. There is even rumours of a sequel so dont believe what the papers say!
Cameron Diaz is the most attractive of all the angels. She plays the usual dumb blonde which she has done so well in other films. She has the most complex action scenes out of all the angels. She also has the most revealing shots!
Drew Barrymore plays the tom boy angel. This is probably her best performance so far. She looks attractive and performs some good action stunts.
Lucy Liu is ok but is the least convincing of all the female stars. However saying that she looks the most confortable in the action scenes.
Bill Murray plays Bosley who is Charlie's side kick. I am a great fan of Bill Murray but I have to say that he is totally wasted in this film. He only has about a handful of comedy lines throughout the film. Bill is a comedy genius and I just expected so many more comedy moments from him.
This film has so many good action scenes. If you are a fan of the Prodigy's "Smack my Bitch up" then you will love the alley scene in this movie.
Overall the ending is what makes this film above average. It has so many cool scenes which will leave you feeling amazed. True, they are a rip off of The Matrix but even so they are very good. I thought I would never say that Cameron Diaz is a good action star but she is!
The soundtrack to this film is awesome as well. The songs are very bouncy and will have you tapping your feet in the cinema. It fits in very well with the whole temp of the movie.
If I was going to say one bad thing about this movie it would have to be the plot. Infact there is very little plot but that will not stop you from enjoying it.
One word of warning though. If you go to this film with your sensible head on then you might be disappointed. This film is very silly at times but it us supposed to be. Overall the girls look stunning, the action is brilliant and the sound is awesome. What more could you ask for in a blockbuster movie. Just sit back and enjoy yourself!

Advantages: Anything that has Cameron Diaz in it, wet and 'unzipped' to the waist has got to get 5 stars Disadvantages: not sure Lucy Liu was the right casting for the 3rd 'Angel'

Advantages: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz... Disadvantages: The most stupid film ever, even worse than The Avengers, possibly as bad as Batman and Robin
