I saw Charlie's Angels recently, and I have to say that I wasn't the least bit impressed. We have a trio of copycats who zoom through air, across land and sea with borrowed stunts from almost every other action movie. This no-brainer has MTV and Matrix touches, particularly in fight sequences with slow-motion shots, spruced up angles and special effects. This is all to make the fighting scenes more powerful and explosive, but to tell you the truth, it cheapens the movie. If they wanted fighting scenes with more style, they could have gotten actresses who were actually trained in martial arts, for example, Michelle Yeoh who acted as Mei Ling in the James Bond movie "Tommorrow Never Dies". But instead, they got three of the most currently popular actresses who are totally unbelievable as butt-kicking angels. It is a mindless movie that just takes the piss out of things. For instance, the Angels have the uncanny ability to dodge bullets and fall from great heights without breaking a limb. Plus the fact that they can still look unscathed after daredevil scrapes. The storyline isn't complicated. It could even lead to much suspense and drama if not for the farce acts of the angels.

Advantages: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz... Disadvantages: The most stupid film ever, even worse than The Avengers, possibly as bad as Batman and Robin
