This DVD starts off with Charlie Brooks telling us how she used these exercises and "a healthy diet" to lose all the weight she put on during her pregnancy. They have a clip of her before she started exercising and was being weighed and measured, then again when she was halfway through her goal, and then at the end when she achieved her target weight.
The DVD has five sections - each lasting approx 10 minutes. In each Charlie does exercise while her trainer Dee Thresher tells us what steps to do.
1. WARM UP This definitely warms you up!! Some of the steps are a bit complicated to follow at first and Dee Thresher doesn't explain them very well, but I managed to follow after about the 4th time of working through the DVD.
2. DISCO This section is supposed to be fun dancing round your living room - but the most you do is cha cha forwards and backwards and then side to side. When the make things a bit more funky, they start clapping and wiggling their hips more! Not my favourite section.
3. COMBAT This section is mainly focused on the upper arms and legs. Lots of punching and kicking here - quite easy to follow. Legs definelty will ache by the end of this section.
4. HIGH INTENSITY Very knackering section. Lots of squats which made my thighs ache for days (must be doing me good though?!) Like a very fast keep fit class!!
5. PILATES Lots of stretching too cool down your muscles which is lovely as most of them you do whilst lying on the floor (believe me, you'll need to after the above!). Some stomach/ab toning exercises, and also some leg/bum toning exercises - not enough for my liking though
At the end Charlie recommends your follow this exercise plan at least 3 times a week to see results.
There is also a Healthy Eating Option section which has loads of recipe suggestions for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks.
Overall this I found this to be a good exercise DVD, and the fact that I have used it more than once should prove the point! No major weight loss though but definitely feeling more toned
