Big Daddy.........................Bad Habbits
Review of Big Daddy (Wide Screen) by hr1392

Advantages: Classic Film
Disadvantages: N/A

...Well what a classic. Adam Sandler has gone soft and it just doesn't work. While he somehow managed to carry off his sweet, pathetic romantic lead character in "The Wedding Singer" last year, in "Big Daddy" he's taken it too far. The formerly outrageous Adam has become the Sensitive Guy. Carring for the child has certainly turned adam in to the Daddy. Teaching him bad habbits like going for a P in one of those places with targets and a horse that moves a cross the top, to show wether you are winng the P race. To p ing up a door. He adopts the kid to show responsability to a future-minded girlfriend. (played by Kirsty Swanson) as he trys to show his nesting instincts. This is a true comdy film. Tragic
Review of The Virgin Suicides (Wide Screen) by nicanddarrell

Advantages: Strong debut
Disadvantages: Rushed in places

...This film was the directorial debut of Sophia Coppola, daughter of Francis Ford. A lot of people will presume that this is another celebrity offspring living off her famous parents name. This is certainly not the case with Sophia Coppola. As well as directing, she also wrote this film, and she tried very hard, but the story she adapted is hard to make sense of at times. One thing is for sure, I hope she stays behind the camera, rather than subject us to anymore wooden acting (see Godfather III). Based on Jeffrey Eugenides' novel, “The Virgin Suicides”, is the story of the Lisbon sisters, who we are introduced to at the start of the film. They are Bonnie (Chelsea Swain), Lux (Kirsten Dunst), Mary (A. J. Cook), Therese (Leslie Hayman) and Cecilia (Hanna R. Hall). They are the children of strictly religious parents (Kathleen Turner...
