A step-by-step guide to choosing the right puppy, training, exercise and behavioural advice for the prospective owner of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Advantages: Very pretty, very loyal, dont need as much exercise as other breeds Disadvantages: Highly strung, expensive
...My dad has always kept dogs. At the moment he has two: Charlie, a Chocolate Labrador and Roger, an Old English Sheepdog, before them there was Jasper, a CavalierKingCharlesSpaniel, Magic, Border Collie and Cassie a German Shepherd. If you take all the pets we had growing up throughout our childhood we could easily have run a farm!
I loved Jasper. He became one of my favourite pets. I know, I know, I shouldn't have favourites but he was gorgeous! Sure he could be highly strung sometimes but he was so cute and adorable you couldn't help but love him

Try to get a cavalier from a good breeder, this will help towards less health problems.
The kennelclub is on the net a good place to look, the best breeders dont always advertise and so you can email to see if they have any pups and try cruffs in your search engine look out for links to owners and there emails.
You can expect to pay between £550.00/£650. But many of these come with health checked parents.kc registerd, champ blood lines ect..
I would never recomend buying a new puppy with out seing it with its mum ,because if its from a place were they are bred for profit...

Money was not free flowing in our house at that time, so I am still...
