A classic example of a Hollywood attempt at capturing the daily epics of mans best friend the dog and the alluring attention seeking felines aka cats and this time they have got both the special effects and the writing in sink which ensure that you will enjoy the laughs and giggles this film brings about and my favourite scene has just got to be the cat ninja’s which are so cool and the animation is so fluid that you would not think that there is both live and animation footage
Now for the story well its sets dogs as the champions of mankind why cats are hell bent on world domination, all this is set around a family who’s farther is working on a cure for people who suffer with an allergic reaction to dogs and the cats want to get hold of this formula and so begins the battle of cats and dogs and starts with a new raw recruit named Lou who is a little puppy and has no idea what lies ahead of him but to help him on his way is Butch who has been around the block long enough to know all the capers of the cats and so helps Lou with the other team of dogs to stop the evil that is Mr Tinkles, a cute little white cat that is hell bent on ruling the world!!
All in all this film will appeal to the young and the old though I do feel that it has a good potential for a sequel without over doing the story elements
