Chuck Noland a FedEx executive is flying over the Pacific on one his planes when he crashes in a storm. His is left stranded and alone on a desert island to survive without the love of his life, Kelly. He has to learn to surivive on coconuts and whichever fedex packages are washed up. He must learn to fish in order to survive and alongside his "friend" (a basketball called wilson!) he surivives on the island for four years before building the ultimate raft. This raft is made using a sail from some washed up materials abnd he manages to sail it into the pacific, where an oil tanker picks him up. He returns to everyday life but finds out that his girfriend beleived he was dead and was married with a child. This is a very good film, differnet from most films that you see.

You seem to have missed out a lot here. Who is the target audience? How long is the film? Did the story grip you? What is YOUR opinion? These are some of the things you should try and answer when writing a film reveiw. Cheers.....Darren
Advantages: Great film, great direction, great individual performances, gripping plot Disadvantages: Slightly dodgy lighting, plot not properly explained
