Well I suppose on balance it was ok. But I was expecting ... well I dont know what I was expecting really. Not what I got.
Story is... well the story is quite brief really - Fed Ex man gets stranded on an island entirely alone after a plane crash. That's it. Oh, and he might get off again, he might not - I won't tell you. Watch the film and find out :+)
It IS worth watching, and Tom Hanks probably should have won awards aplenty for it, but I still can't shake this feeling that it was ... well a little dreary, a little overlong, a little bit ... boring.
If you like Mr Hanks, watch the film. It is a Tom Hanks vehicle, to be certain, but don't expect any great huge event.

It seems that this film was written puely to give Tom Hanks a route to oscar number 3. It was well acted and the plane crash was very realistic, but I think the ending could have been a lot better. I have only given you an FH rating as you didnt go into much detail about the film - your ops really need to be longer for better ratings.

Sorry, but this review did not help at all in terms of going to see it. Too short and no information whatsoever. You need to write about the film and tell the members what its about and what you thought of it at least.

Yes, my love, I did write it. There just isn't anything about the film which is worthy of a mention. You must admit it is a little ... sparse.
Advantages: Great film, great direction, great individual performances, gripping plot Disadvantages: Slightly dodgy lighting, plot not properly explained
